While putting the finishing touches on the cottage, we’ve been looking for cost-effective ways to spruce up its nooks and crannies. DIY Peel & Stick Wallpaper Nightstand
The Supplies
- nightstand: IKEA in white – $49.99
- Sakanaphotography zebra print peel & stick wallpaper in navy – 1(30” x 48”)
- 2 frame decals
- white primer paint
- coral acrylic paint
- 2 flat paint brushes
- clear Elmer's glue
- tape measure
- scissors
How To
Prime one side of the two frame decals, then apply two to three coats of the coral acrylic paint. Make sure to apply to the raised edges of the frame. Let dry.
While decals are drying, measure the top and two sides of the nightstand and cut wallpaper to size. Peel and stick!
Expert tip: Start at one end and peel as you go for a smooth application.
Measure the face of each drawer plus its 4 edges and cut wallpaper to size. Peel & stick! Wrap any excess paper evenly around the drawer’s corners and edges.
Add clear Elmer's glue to the back of the decals and center on each drawer.

Voila, we love the way this simple piece transformed into a bold beauty! Top it off with fresh blooms, books, or a marble ring dish. We chose our zebra print wallpaper in navy with a complimentary coral accent, but there are many options depending on the color scheme of your space. Happy DIYing!
